THE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH PROJECTS COORDINATION UNIT
The Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit is a unit which was established according to the Regulations regarding Scientific Research Projects in Higher Education Institutions (published on the 10th of April 2002 in the Official Journal). The unit is managed according to “Guidelines for Scientific Research Projects of Akdeniz University”, which was written according to these Regulations. Projects which are compatible with our national strategy are supported if they are related to the topics falling within the priorities of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). The main goals of the Unit are to accomplish the fulfilment of national and international projects by supporting the infrasturucture of the units, and to make a contribution to the inmternational sciencific community by publishing the results of the projects. An attempt is also made to find solutions to national and international problems by supporting projects which address these fields.
